ANN ARBOR, MI — Luca Pastry is bringing cannoli, pastries and cakes to Ann Arbor with the opening of his new location this weekend.
Luca Pastry, 3354 Washtenaw Avenue, will hold its grand opening from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 12. The first 100 customers will receive a full pouch of assorted buttons, with a limit of one per party.
The patisserie, which also has locations in Canton, Plymouth and Livonia, serves cakes, cake slices, cannoli, éclairs, French macaroons and pies. Although most of the new location’s menu will be similar to its other stores, the Ann Arbor store will be the first to feature a cannoli bar.
Customers can choose from eight specialty cannoli flavors, which will be freshly made at the patisserie’s creation bar. Flavors include Strawberry Lemon, Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, Cookies & Cream, Twix, M&M’s, Reese’s Pieces, and Espresso.
Specialty cannoli are sold individually or in up to boxes of 12 for $4 a piece.
Co-owner Michael Cangialosi said the patisserie eventually hopes to transition to a “build your own” version of the bar, where customers can choose their own toppings and toppings.
“Everyone is ready and excited to finally open it,” Cangialosi said.
Luca Pastry, 3354 Washtenaw Avenue in Ann Arbor, will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Find the store online, on social media or by phone at 734-929-4749.
