Since Tim Hortons ice cream is now available in Canada, I tried all five flavors and ranked them from best to worst!
With these new frozen treats, you can get five flavors based on classic Tim Hortons baked goods and beverages, including donuts and frozen cappuccinos.
The flavors are Double Chocolate Donut, Birthday Cake Timbits, Fruit Explosion, Salted Caramel Iced Capp, and Apple Beignet.
All treats can be found at select grocery stores in Canada like No-Frills, Real Canadian Super Store, Fortinos, Metro, Sobeys and Walmart.
I tried all five ice creams so naturally, I have my favorites and the ones I don’t really like.
Taste is subjective, but here’s my ranking of Tim Hortons ice cream flavors from best to worst.
1. Double Chocolate Donut
Tim Hortons Double Chocolate Donut Flavor Ice Cream.

As someone who absolutely loves chocolate, it wasn’t hard at all to realize that this is my favorite flavor out of the five ice creams.
Getting a dollop with chocolate ice cream, fudge ripples and chocolate donut chunks made my taste buds sing, but I can understand it might be too chocolaty for some people.
2. Apple fritters
Tim Hortons Apple Donut Flavor Ice Cream.
Lisa Belmont | Narcity
The apple donut is a classic Tim Hortons donut that I love and it was nice to have all those flavors replicated in the ice cream.
Even without the cinnamon brown sugar ripple, this would have been a top contender based solely on apple spice ice cream.
3. Salted Caramel Glazed Cap
Tim Hortons Salted Caramel Iced Cappuccino Ice Cream.
Lisa Belmont | Narcity
I prefer regular iced capps to salted caramel iced capps, but this ice cream is surprisingly good and it definitely tastes like the classic Tim Hortons drink.
Although the sweetness of it might be a turn off for some, I thoroughly enjoyed the sweet treat.
4. Birthday Cake Timbits
Tim Hortons Timbits Flavor Ice Cream Birthday Cake.
Lisa Belmont | Narcity
It’s not my favorite of the five flavors, as it can sometimes taste a little plain depending on what you get in your spoonful.
However, it’s a perfectly enjoyable ice cream that really tastes like eating a Timbit birthday cake.
5. Fruit Blast
Tim Hortons Fruit Explosion Flavor Ice Cream.
Lisa Belmont | Narcity
As someone who doesn’t like the combination of dessert and fruit, I didn’t really like the Fruit Explosion flavor.
Vanilla ice cream by itself is good but I don’t care much for the fruit ripple.
Maybe someone else would appreciate that!
