TORONTO, March 28, 2022 /CNW/ – Tim Hortons has improved its breakfast line-up more than ever with two new delicious dishes for customers who wish to choose a sandwich or a wrap offering a plant-based alternative to meat.
Canadians can now order the juicy and irresistible Harvest Breakfast Sandwich and Harvest Farmer’s Wrap, which are made with delicious, plant-based Impossible Sausages and a 100% Canadian freshly cracked egg.
Tim Hortons is proud to be part of the morning routines of so many Canadians. We are famous for harboring from Canada favorite coffee, which is always brewed every 20 minutes with 100% ethically sourced premium Arabica beans. As part of our mission to provide our guests with a great start to the day, we began last year to launch a series of initiatives to improve the quality of our breakfast menu, including the introduction freshly cracked eggs and new naturally crispier smoked bacon, plus new English muffins, cookies and hash browns.
We’re now excited to add more options for customers looking for a plant-based alternative in their breakfast sandwich or wrap that doesn’t compromise on flavor and deliciousness.
“We are always thinking about how we can improve our menu based on feedback and we know many of our customers are looking for a plant-based alternative in their breakfast sandwich that is just as delicious,” the chef said. Tallis Voakes, Director of Culinary Innovation for Tim Hortons.
“The Impossible™ Plant-Based Sausage is another great option for all of our customers, but we’re really happy to accommodate those who requested a plant-based alternative in their Tims breakfast sandwiches and wraps.”
TV commercial for new Harvest Breakfast Sandwich and Harvest Farmer’s Wrap features restaurant owners Tims Jasmine and Stephane Lacoste who are excited to offer the new additions to the menu to their guests.
“We’ve seen a lot of guests come and ask for this option,” they said. “We are so excited about this launch.”
