It was certainly a memorable 4th of July as St. Rita’s School celebrates 100 years of education!
The administrators, staff, parents and students of St. Rita School (SRS) had a wonderful time celebrating Independence Day with the town of Sierra Madre! It’s always a joy to say hello to other clubs, businesses and schools in the Sierra Madre. It was exciting to exhibit St. Rita’s School, the Centennial Cake Float and there are so many people to thank for making it all possible!
SRS thanks Mr. Castro for the beautiful centennial banner, Mr. and Mrs. Weideman for building the cake float, Mrs. Santos for creating the cake topper design and decoration, Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez for lending your trailer for transporting the cake, Mr. Guerra for assembling the cake, arranging all the transportation and decorating, Mr. Gil for towing the cake safely through the parade, Ms. Chung, Ms. Lomeli, Ms. Reimers, Ms. Garcia , Mrs. Mottola, and Mrs. Jenelle for decorating the cake, Miss Jose for preparing the St. Rita cheer squad, Mrs. Vazquez for being the school’s honorary coach for the parade, and to all parents and St. Rita students who participated and walked the parade route!

Saint Rita could not have done it without their support.
“Happy and wonderful 4th of July!”
