Bethany Faith Bogart, 17, of Bronaugh, Mo., died Monday, September 12, 2022. Bethany was born in Nevada on March 26, 2005 to Kyle and Kimberly Dawn (Lefevre) Bogart.
Bethany has been a lifelong resident of Bronaugh and is currently a senior in Bronaugh High School’s class of 2023. Bethany loved showing off pigs, bunnies and decorating cakes in 4-H. She also loved FFA. Her favorite flower was the sunflower, as was her bright personality. She loved all sports and was ready to try them all. She had participated in basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, cheerleading, gymnastics and track and field. She always smiled and liked to make others laugh.
She loved working with children. She was currently taking childcare courses with a view to a career as a teacher.
Bethany is survived by her mother, Kimberly Somers (Junior) of the House of Bronaugh; his father, Kyle Bogart, Bronaugh; brother, Cody Bogart; half-siblings, Star Somers, Shyann Somers, Alex Somers, Kira Lehmann and Bo Somers; grandparents, Paul and Suzanne Bogart and Randy Lefevre, Bronaugh; several aunts, uncles and nieces. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Elaine Lefevre.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 15, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Ed Post officiating. Interment will follow at Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ferry Funeral Home. Memorials to the Bronaugh R-7 Scholarship Fund are suggested and may be made in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
