LOS ANGELES, CA, USA, June 30, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — When it comes to wedding cakes, there’s certainly no shortage of lavish, quirky, and super creative options. But one wedding cake in particular is aiming to literally butter wedding guests this season. Myseafood, in partnership with Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative, has just released their stunning Maine Lobster Roll wedding cake.
Jasmine Rae, #1 wedding cake designer, believes that this type of wedding cake shape is what makes any cake business last for the long haul. “I’m a big fan of the innovative take on the iconic wedding cake silhouette,” says Rae. “Many small businesses have successfully capitalized on the use of this form to evoke the festive nature of the wedding cake, such as the champagne tower, cupcake tower and even a tower of lobster rolls, claiming to be an alternative to cake of marriage.”
The savory “cake” describes it as a “unique and delicious WOW way to celebrate your special day!” includes 24 Maine lobster rolls presented on a three-tier white melamine wood cake stand. Keep in mind that some assembly is required to create this masterpiece.
Rae continues: “The graduated round shape screams ‘wedding cake’. The round pyramid shape of a wedding cake occupies a unique place in a wedding – it is usually only occupied once, by the wedding cake. itself. But many other food artisans can structure their products in shape, thus supplanting, or at least mimicking, the wedding cake.”
“While the shape can be borrowed (even modern tiers of a wedding cake were once a borrowed shape), I find it’s more often that couples want that evocative shape at their wedding, whether it’s a mini pie tower or a lobster roll tower, whether they just want cake in any shape Even when I create abstract cake sculptures, I aim to honor the evocative shape of the “wedding cake” archetype Form is what works best, and it’s within that boundary that I’m most free to create imaginatively,” Rae concludes.
Jasmine Rae was born in San Francisco in 1981. After formal art training, a mural painting business, and a BA in cognitive science, she opened her baking studio in 2006, then simultaneously returned to school for a master’s degree in psychology. Rae is often asked if and how her mastery contributes to her cake business. Rae said it’s hugely relevant to her work and her life, in part because it’s now part of her identity, a trained sensitivity tool, with a social justice lens. It influences the creative process both in cake making and working with real people.
Jasmine Rae’s cake creations are whimsical, organic, surprising, even austere, like a diaphanous sheet of rice or an explosion of sugar. @JasmineRaeCakes creates artwork all over the world including Italy, Dubai, Malaysia, etc.
