One person said he was left “speechless” after Swiggy mixed up his instructions for a cake he ordered from a bakery in Nagpur. The man tweeted that he had asked the online food delivery service to mention whether the cake contained eggs or not. However, instead of mentioning it in the order details, someone wrote “contains eggs” on the cake itself. While the mischief was harmless and wouldn’t have made any difference to the taste of the cake, the issue sparked laughter on social media. Additionally, Swiggy responded to resolve the issue to their customer’s satisfaction.
“So I ordered a cake from a famous bakery in Nagpur, via Swiggy. In the order details, I mentioned “Please mention if the cake contains eggs”. I am speechless after receiving the order” , said the client.
He also shared an image of the cake with the tweet, which indeed came across as laughable.
