Just months ago, the Duchess of Cambridge’s favorite bohemian designer, Alice Temperley, was celebrating the survival of her business, which went into receivership last year.
Alice, 46, threw a lavish party at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge to mark Temperley London’s 22nd anniversary with a gathering of close friends including supermodel Laura Bailey.
‘It’s time to toast Temperley London’s first 22 years and all that’s yet to come,’ she said at the party, after Temperley London faced $31 million in unpaid debts pounds sterling before earning a new investment.

However, I can reveal that another of his companies is now in liquidation and owes, according to the balance sheet, £388,000.
The debts of Bictem, a clothing retail company, include a whopping £331,000 in intra-company loans to two of its other businesses – £174,000 to Temperley Holdings and £157,000 to TLBRUT Limited, which has been dissolved last September. Plus over £20,000 to HMRC and £35,000 to unsecured creditors.
The former Met Bar waitress Temperley, who is the granddaughter of famed mathematician Neville Temperley, grew up in her parents’ cider house in Somerset. She received an MBE in the 2011 New Year’s Honors for her services to the fashion industry.

Her dresses are extremely popular with the royal family, especially Catherine and her sister Pippa Middleton.
She designed the striking dress that led to Pippa being dubbed “Her Royal Hotness”.
She is also the favorite of famous personalities such as Madonna, Beyonce and Halle Berry, and a friend of Hollywood star Amber Heard.
After Heard did well in a bitter High Court showdown with ex-husband Johnny Depp last year, she celebrated with Temperley at the Groucho Club in Soho.
Cadbury wedding – but without a half-naked prince
At chocolate heiress Jemima Cadbury’s surprise bachelor party, she abseiled down a rock climbing wall before partying with friends who were all dressed up as pop star Britney Spears.
Her nuptials, however, were a more restricted affair.
“It was a beautiful wedding in the English countryside,” said one of the guests who saw Cadbury, 29, exchange vows with David Tollemache, 33, at Dorchester Abbey. Her friend Lady Violet Manners shared this photo of the couple cutting the cake in the grounds of the Cadbury home in Oxfordshire.

Kirby keeps a grip on his cocktail
Her sure-fire portrayal of the Queen’s temperamental and often thirsty younger sister, Princess Margaret, propelled her to stardom in The Crown, for which she won the Bafta for Best Supporting Actress.
So it was only fitting that Vanessa Kirby looked so easily at ease as she enjoyed a night out with friends in Notting Hill – a Martini cocktail in hand.

The 34-year-old, privately educated Londoner, didn’t seem on this occasion to single out any of her companions for their undivided attention.
That wasn’t the case last month when she and Christopher Abbott, her co-star in romantic drama The World To Come, got into an intense chat outside a Soho bar.
Kirby was previously entangled with Callum Turner, who she starred with in 2014’s Queen And Country.
They separated two years ago, blaming busy schedules.
Things might have been a little awkward at the Oxford Union, which debated the ‘This house will repatriate disputed items’ motion. Because the new head of Union communities happens to be 18-year-old Liberty Osborne, whose father, former Conservative Chancellor George, is chairman of the British Museum. He currently holds the Elgin Marbles firmly, among other disputed artifacts. The motion passed with a huge majority of 250 to just 52. Don’t tell daddy, Liberty!
Made in Chelsea and Strictly star Jamie Laing isn’t married yet, but his fiancée is already revealing her bedroom secrets. Reality TV star Sophie Habboo, 28, says Laing is “afraid of the dark” and has to leave the lights on. He “always looks under the bed” before falling asleep. ‘I just pretend not to [see him] because it’s kinda weird,” she whispers, adding that Laing, 33, also searches closets for “little ginger boys” who once appeared in a nightmare. Strictly Come Dancing winner Abbey Clancy has offered herself a £160,000 paycheck – after locking out her belt.

The Liverpudlian model, 36, told her accountants her work dried up at the start of the pandemic and she should be more frugal.
However, figures show Abbey, who has four children with the husband of former England footballer Peter Crouch, received a dividend of £160,000 and her business, Abigail Marie Clancy Ltd, is worth nearly £700,000.
It’s a hardy perennial at the Chelsea Flower Show, but Paul O’Grady admits he doesn’t even lift a trowel.
“I was constantly asked if I was a gardening lover,” explains the comedian and television presenter.
“But I had to be clear and admit that if I walked into a garden center the plants would wilt in case I bought them.”
