
Restarting surf programs
• Learn to surf – Ideal for all levels, surf lessons offer clients the opportunity to learn to surf in group lessons with a certified surf instructor.
• Private surf reservations – Guests can organize their own private surf event for up to 25 people at certain times. Private Surf is back on January 7th; reservations are now available.
New frozen dessert bar menu
Guests will discover new DOLE Whip menu offerings at the shipwreck-inspired restaurant, Snack Shack. In addition to two Moana-inspired DOLE Whip character cones, guests can create their own combination of tropical flavors with their choice of DOLE Whip in Mango, Lime, Raspberry or Pineapple.
Adults can complete their personalized DOLE Whip creation by mixing in tequila, coconut rum or dark rum. Typhoon Tilly’s Snack Shack will also serve Habanero Lime Galley Shack Swirl, a new signature cocktail balancing the spicy flavors of habanero, sweet mango and tangy lime.
Birthday celebration menu items
To mark Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary, Typhoon Lagoon will be adding several new menu items and features as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”, such as:
• Walt’s Chili Nachos (Snack Shack) – A new take on a favorite classic, this playful take on Walt Disney’s beloved chili recipe features homemade fried tortillas, cheese, guacamole, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, sour cream and jalapeño.
• EARidescent Ice Dream Cone (Happy Landings) – This birthday cake flavored swirl in a white chocolate coated cone honors the celebration with EARidescent sprinkles.
• Walt Disney World popcorn bucket (main change) – Available throughout the celebration, this popcorn bucket features whimsical illustrations of iconic Walt Disney World landmarks as well as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their 50th celebration outfits.
• a refillable 50th anniversary mug – The new 50th anniversary refillable mug will be available in all restaurants and features artwork inspired by Disney water parks that pays homage to “the world’s most magical celebration”.
