The day is finally here. The final game of the NFL’s Divisional Playoff Round will be played tonight at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. Kick off is at 6:30 p.m.
The Bills and Chiefs are not only the two hottest teams in the NFL, with the two best offenses in the NFL, but both teams have probably the two most talented quarterbacks on the planet (Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes ).
This is actually the fourth time the two teams have met in the past 15 months, since October 2020 at Orchard Park. The Chiefs won that wet and windy encounter, 26-17.
The Chiefs lost to the Bills last October, 38-20, and of course the Bills lost to the Chiefs in last year’s AFC Championship game, 38-24.
The Chiefs have scored 30 or more points in five of their last six games, with 42 points against the Pittsburgh Steelers in last week’s Wild Card game.
The Bills haven’t lost since Dec. 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Buffalo has been incredible on the field since the start of the second half of that overtime loss to the Bucs.
Josh Allen and the offense scored a touchdown on all seven possessions in their 47-17 win over the New England Patriots in their Wild Card game, with what was the first perfect game on offense in franchise history. the NFL.

If you’re not a Bills or Chiefs fan (no stress), this is the game you’ve been waiting for and hoping for. In fact, it’s the biggest new rivalry in the NFL and in North America’s big four sports in general.
The no-division Bills-Chiefs rivalry is very reminiscent of the rivalry between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots between 2001-2009. They were considered the AFC’s two best teams of the decade and had two of the top five quarterbacks of all time in Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes is the modern take on Brady v. Manning. It’s the quarterback game that NFL fans have been dreaming of for weeks and hoping would happen in the playoffs.
Both teams play a high-octane passing game and rely heavily on their young superstar quarterbacks.
It has the makings of being even bigger and better than Jim Kelly vs. Dan Marino.
The two teams don’t like each other either, as evidenced by the end of the 2020 AFC Championship game.
It’s America’s new favorite sports rivalry and the Bills are one of them.
