Anyone with a sweet tooth should definitely know what’s new cake boss vending machine at Carrefour Laval. The cake vending machine dispenses some of the fluffiest and most decadent cakes from the ever-famous Carlo’s Bakery, hailing from Hoboken, New Jersey.
Carlo’s Bakery exploded after its success on TLC and now you can taste the bakery yourself. Thanks to a single vending machine, you can buy a slice of cake while shopping. I mean, who wouldn’t want to enjoy a good slice of cake after doing laps at Carrefour, amirite?
A bit pricey but I thought the cake was pretty good!! lavalfoodie #vending machine #cakevendingmachine #rainbowcake
Onsite, you have the option of choosing from a lovely selection of cake flavors including: Vanilla Rainbow, Red Velvet, Chocolate Fudge, Confetti, Cookies, and Carrot Cream Cake. After choosing your flavor, all you need to do is checkout and wait for the vending machine to collect your dessert.
Despite crossing the border from Jersey, the cakes are totally fresh. In fact, it is recommended to wait about fifteen minutes before dipping into the slice of cake, as they are much tastier when served at room temperature.
Individual cake slices cost $10.49 and are definitely large enough for two people to enjoy. The Laval shopping center is not the only place in Greater Montreal to have such a delicious machine.
Carlo’s Bake Shop Express vending machines are also present at Place Montréal Trust, Galeries d’Anjou, Fairview Pointe-Claire, Promenade de Gatineau and Center Eaton de Montréal.
Enjoy your lunch!
